Thankful Thursday

Today, on this Thankful Thursday, I am thankful for:
  • My husband who is always loving and understanding
  • My friends, I never thought I would be as blessed with the great women in my life.
  • American Soldiers/Military and the extreme sacrifices they have made and continue to make each and everyday so that I can live here in a free country with my family.
  • For the cooler weather and the beautiful days we are having
  • For the wonderful school my children go to it's very small and personal

Today I am sooo thankful for being a stay at home mom!! I feel so fortunate to be able to stay home with my children and not worry about what they are doing when I am not with them or who is going to keep them while I work.

I love being able to go on field trips and volunteer at their school. While we have had to sacrifice a lot of material things in order for me to stay home, it has all been worth it. No material possession could replace the joy and satisfaction that comes from raising your children.

If you bungle raising your children, I don't think whatever else you do well matters very much. ~Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis

I have decided to start doing "Thankful Thursday" instead of "Thursday Thirteen". It's more meaningful to me, and I have so much to be thankful for. This week was very simple to come up with what I am thankful for:

Jesus cried out in a loud voice,
"Father, into your hands I commend my spirit":
