Five reason why I love my husband:

Okay, my husband has been so great recently that I just have to brag on him :o)

1.Because he warms my PJ's almost every cold night in the dryer while I am getting ready for bed

2.Because he loves Maddie co-sleeping with us even though all night long she contorts her body like a yogi and no one truly gets any sleep.

3.Because he would never ever hang up the phone or walk out of the house with out telling me he loved me.

4.Because he always tells me that I am beautiful even when I haven't bathed in two days and am wearing over sized pajama's

5.No reason, just because. :o)

Yawn!

We have had such a busy weekend. I have so much to say, but just not enough energy to type it all out, so I will just put up a few pictures for now.

Whirlwind of a day....
What a day! I feel like I am just now getting to relax. The alarm went off at 5 am and I hit the ground running. I had to drive an hour and a half just to see the doctor I needed (thanks Tricare).
My mother works in that area so we went to lunch together, which was really nice. I haven't seen her in months and really enjoyed the time we got to spend together.
Then I was off to Easter shop. I am having issues finding a dress for Victoria. She hates dresses, but I want something appropriate for Easter and we can't find anything we both agree on. I went in ten different stores today and couldn't find her anything. I am happy to report I did find Chandler and Madilyn something to wear. I can't wait to get pictures of them in their outfits.
I have been running all day and now I am off to soak in a hot bath with a good book.

Monday Monday
What better way to welcome a Monday than with this beautiful spring weather! I can hardly believe that this past weekend I woke up to flurries. This spring weather has inspired me to start my spring cleaning already. Today Madilyn and I went to the store and picked up lots of cleaning supplies. Nothing smells better than a freshly cleaned room. I even bought a fresh bouquet of tiger lilies to put on the table. I can certainly get used to the mountains in spring!

Happy St Patricks Day!
Today the kids and I made cupcakes for St. Patricks Day. I found this cupcake recipe at FamilyFun.com. It was a little harder than I thought it would be, but all in all the kids had a great time. Here is where you can find the recipe to do your own.

They grow up so fast

Being the oldest of three Victoria sometimes gets shorted on the "quality" time. So today we went out, just her and I. We had such a great time. We went shopping, out to eat, and to get her hair cut. (see photo below)

She looks so grown up, I really love the cut though. It suits her so well. I am so glad we were able to hang out. I know it will only be a few years before she doesn't want to hang out with me anymore.

I am thankful for my new friends

When we first moved to the mountains, I couldn't think of one reason I wanted to stay here, I was bored, lost, and lonely. By January I thought of every reason why we should leave. Luckily, right around that time a company I had contacted, approved me to start a community for local moms in the area. I was terrified, I wasn't sure if anyone would actually join, or worse, they would join but then hate it and leave. Day after day, I received applications for new moms eager to join my group. Now only three months later we are nearing 100 members! I have been able to meet several ladies in person and we always have such a great time together. This is such a wonderful group of women, many of us have very different beliefs and values, but we have one thing in common, we are all mothers. So, we over look everything else and just enjoy bonding with other mothers. I don't know what I would do without the group now. The other day while chatting, one mom said "I am thankful for my new friends. That sounded hokey didn't it?" Certainly not!! I too, am thankful for my new friends.
